ReplyDeleteCan´t wait to see how it .Happy sewing!
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting to start mine. Trying to see the best way to use the fabrics I have. the focus fabric I have is limiting on colors to work with it...that's my hold-up.
ReplyDeleteJeanAnn, There is a typo back on week #2. You have one measurement to cut sashing at 8 1/2 inches long to onto the teal/aqua rectangle side of 6 1/2 inches long. People are wondering which is correct. Should we cut the sashing lengths to 8 1/2 inch or 6 1/2 inch..I think it's 6 1/2 inch but no assuming and cutting. Or do we cut that other side of the teal/aqua rectangle to 8 1/2 inch to match up with the sashing that is 8 1/2 inch?
ReplyDeleteWell, I cut mine and they don't match, so I'm stuck. :(
ReplyDeleteok, going on faith.....i am using a larger print focal fabric for my aqua/teal.....gonna go ahead and use it to frame some light fabric squares....here goes nothing--in for a penny, in for a pound. this is what mysteries are all about right?
ReplyDeletewell dag nab it....not enough focus fabric left to border all 8 of these....of course it is out of stash. gonna have to sit this step out to see what will work later. did step 4 last night though. eagerly awaiting 5 and 6!
